Here at Healthcare Screening Ireland, we are proud to once again provide Phlebotomy & Laboratory Services for the highly successful and hugely popular Operation Transformation.
Two of our expert phlebotomy nurses attended to the shows leaders, as they took blood samples of Lucy, Noeleen, Clare and John. Unfortunately one of the leaders, Dan, was unable to attend due to an illness that kept him out of this week’s weigh-in and out of any challenges as he is currently in hospital being treated for severe colitis.
We were able to provide the phlebotomy services which help establish the leaders’ risks of developing cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome as well as kidney and liver function.
Viewers saw Dan explain that he had not been feeling well. Dan first displayed signs of colitis after suffering from stomach cramps and passing blood. After numerous tests were carried out on Dan by medics he was admitted to hospital, receiving treatment for his illness.
We here at Healthcare Screening Ireland wish him a speedy recovery.
Healthcare Screening Ireland wishes the leaders every success on the road for a positive change and a healthy lifestyle.
Operation Transformation encourages good health for our nation and is currently conducting a ‘Million pound Challenge’ for our country to lose in a year. Incredibly in a matter of less than two weeks the country has lost over 4,000 pounds. You can track the challenge here: http://www.rte.ie/ot/
